Toyo R1R's - Anyone run these??

A pal has recommended these to me and wondered if anyone has any experience of them? Also what profile would suit the standard wheel? They only come in 215 45 17 in a size that would fit.

Currently have Yoko Parada's on the front (yet to get a set for the rear) and while they are decent enough in the dry they are pretty damn slippy in the damp / greasy conditions we've been having recently. More so when turning and applying throttle, tend to get a lot of wheel spin. Otherwise not TOO bad when accelerating on a straight stretch.

You shouldn't get R1R's if your issues are primarily damp slippy conditions on the road.

They're great in the dry and on track though.

Parada's are terrible in the wet. Just get a set of Goodyear F1A2's, one of the best all year round tyres you can get.
