Hi all newbie here.
I am looking to make the jump to an fn2 but I am looking for abit of advice.
I have been looking around on auto trader etc ( not test drove yet) but I was wondering what year to go for I have noticed 07 is pretty cheap but is that abit old? What year would you recommend ?

Hello mate, I own a 2007 fn2 and have no complaints. I bought it with 48000 miles on the clock and it drives superb. I suppose it depends on your budget which year you choose but if I was starting over though I would go for a 2010 model. This is the facelift year and has good upgrades.
 
I think the 58/09 became the facelift models which include a USB and aux connection in the arm rest , HID, Automatic lights / wipers and a few other things.
 
My 57 plate had auto lights/wipers.

The big upgrade in the later cars is the LSD
 
Yes the LSD upgrade is on the 2010. But make sure it is a 2010 not a 2009 registered in 2010.

i have seen one on piston heads, red 11 plate for £8,750 with 57k miles would you say that is about the right price? I'm trying to find out so I don't get ripped off when deciding

You would need to check if it has an LSD but decent for the price.
