Unknown cable

Hi I have recently bought a fn2 type r and have found a cable in the centre console. Now I don’t know if this is factory or if a previous owner has fitted it. Does anyone have any idea what it may be for, or what it’s purpose is?

Looks like an old Iphone charger connection (like the 3GS era), deff looks like its something non oem that's been added

Lol omg I have one too in my ep3,I just shuffed it right at the back of the stearing wheel.

As above, looks like an old aftermarket iphone charger. Think they changed the plug when the iphone 5 came out back in 2012!
