Unsecure team heko wind deflectors...

Messages

iv had some team heko wind delectors fitted to my ep3 for a few months, all was fine untill one day one flew off when i was on the dual carridge way. my brother following in his MR2 turbo was not impressed when it smashed into his bonnet!

i had those metal clips to hold them in but they didnt work very well atall.

im going to buy some more, but was just wondering if anyone had any more suggestions about fitting them in more securely? without using the metal clips.

cheers
Paul

I've had my wind deflectors for around 6 months now and still on my car, and I didn't use the clips to hold it with.

I think you have to fit them with very strong sticky pads like what Griff said.

Ensure to clean any polish/wax from the areas where the sticky foam is going to stick.
