USB Connection in FN2 Centre armrest

Ok, some of you may have read my previous rants about Brindley Honda west brom, but they completely failed to remember that you can have a USB & AUX input in the centre armrest!!

can anyone tell me the connector part nu that I need to use the USB into my IPOD... Why don't they make these things standard size.

Oh, and apologies if this has been asked previously and I haven't seen the previous thread.

Does your car have the USB & Aux in the armrest? What year is it?

Yes, it is an 09 model so I think this came as an option.

It came as standard from MY09. From what i've heard you just plug your ipod lead in and it should work..... never used one myself though....

No, there is a converter cable.

Although it's a USB port, the connector is different. The converter cable plugs into this port and has a standard USB port the other end.

Thanks all, is there a part number for the convertor cable? Honda dealerships are not exactly helpful and the owners manual only states that a convertor is needed?
