valve clearances HELP

Emailed honda for a price for a service and I got told valve clearances need checking every 25,000 miles at a cost of £1200 I nearly fell off my chair . Do you think they have made a typing error and it should be £120 ??

Yes, it looks that way.

It's no that much of job, I've done mine on the drive before.

They should just be charging for a few hours labour I'd say.

Just had mine done at honda for £99 inc.

£100 surcharge for Type R valve clearances on a CTR at a Honda main dealer, obviously they can charge less if they want.
