What disk and pads to go with Spoon calipers?

There is a set of Spoon calipers going for a decent price, so I'm thinking I could get that instead of the StopTech.
How do people rate them ?

and what disks and pads shall I get to go with them?

Can I just run the Spoon calipers on my current disks, and change when they get close to death for bigger ones?

Friendy is the person to ask. He was running the Spoon setup before he bought my Stoptech kit off me. With the Spoon calipers you can only run OE sized discs IIRC. Could use DBA discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Change to an uprated brake fluid and get some braided lines and should have a good setup.

Friendy only changed as his car is a track beast and with the power he putting out he found the Spoon setup could no longer cope.
