I looks like one is for the door actuator and the other is for the switch assembly. It looks like you already have the actuator connected, so that will be for the switches on the door card.

Fair dues.
Does the central locking work when you lock the passenger door with the door card lever? Can't remember if it does on the EP3 anyway though to be honest.
Final way out guess is speakers?!
Might be legacy for LHD cars where they would have had the extra switches from the drivers side on yours. Is it the same on both sides?

Had a look at the driver's door. The plug is connected on this side.
found out it is for the central locking using the key manually to open the car. On the passenger side door there is no key barrel so it is rendered useless.
so yeah your right about the whole left hand drive thing.
