What size tyres do you recommend?

For 17x7.5 rims

Rota GR-A's - will go on my CTR, not lowered, yet. More thinking either 215 or 225?

well a wheel with a width of 7.5" is 190mm, if you've got a tyre with a width of 225mm thats a 35mm hangover, 17.5mm each side. Lets say you go for a 45mm sidewall you've got 45mm to force the tyre back to 190mm which puts it at an angle of 68 degrees which imo isn't good for a tyre. The smaller the tyre wall the worse the angle is too.

For the standard wheels/tyres sides you're looking at an angle of 79 degrees

(the above assumes i've done the calcs right)
