FK2 Whats the under body protection like on the fk2 type r's

Hi just wondering how well protected the underside / wheel arches of the fk2 type r's are? Not seen mine in the air yet but had a bad experience with my s2000 , which rusted away !

I know it has the flat undertrays but is the metal behind undersealed in any way to protect from road salt ?
 
The rear arches are carpeted but not sure if this is a good thing or not as they will hold moisture. Im using Bilt Hamber Atom Mac on mine, look it up.
