Which alpine head unit / receiver

I have decided to get rid of my dvd head unit and opt back to a alpine for many reasons

The decision to make is do i go for a cd head unit and get a ipod add on

Or get the alpine receiver thats ready for ipod usb etc and get a 6 disk changer add on

I have got to choose between

Alpine ida-x100
Alpine cde-9882ri

As these are some of the best rated ones and are reasonably cheap now

Any help will be appreciated

I had one of those alpine ipod recievers years ago when they first came out. was great i just used the ipod mostly anyway saves having loads of cds.

Ive allways thought alpine are one of the best i had a double din apline aswell was great peice of kit. ive got kenwood double din just now and thats equally just as good.

i use alpine ipod stuff and like it, Alpine is the dogs imo

Man, you've just reminded me I have one of those single din Alpine iPod/iPhone ones with a colour display. It's currently not in any car, Caz is still using one of the early blue Pioneer iPod radios with a CD slot.

I'll have to go dig out the box and get it up for sale.
