Which HID kit?

Looking to buy a hid kit but no really sure what's out there, any suggestion on which one to go for?

All the new ones on eBay are pretty much the same mate, I've just bought some 35w 6000k with slim ballasts and they're really good quality, the lamps have a metal base instead of plastic and fitment is easy, the type r is the easiest car I've installed them on. I'll try post a link to the ones I bought.

Butcher can you confirm if the facelift uses h1 bulbs ? Cheers

According to this link that I used yes BUT they need adaptors to fit the civic headlights, the seller I bought mine off knew this and told me but I'm not sure what the adaptors are called.

Thanks this explains my problem then had someone try and fit my 6k hid kit today and bulbs wouldnt fit or something :/

Ive always used hids4u. I cant fault them and you get a choice of kits including slim ballasts

I bought them from asc_group and they never told me I would need these bulb holders !

And got slim ballasts also paid £70 so they wernt exactly cheap !

I suppose they wouldn't of know what car you were fitting them too, I told the place I bought mine so they gave me the adaptors. Really sorry I didn't mention it on my first post but completely forgot
