FN2 Windscree Condensation & Freezing

So, I've been getting condensation & actually ice when really cold on the inside of my windscreen.

Had this before on the EP3 and when I got the Air Con regassed it seemed to fix it (something about clearing out the excess etc). Could it just be that or something more painful?

Any ideas?

Check you havent got a leak anywhere into the car, boot etc.
Any damp in the car will condense on the screen.

I had this problem in the past after I left a window open a bit in the rain parked up..oops
I put the air on to recirculate, full heat, and left the car running for 30 mins, seemed to dry it out

I used these until I had chance to dry it out

I get it when the cars been standing a while, doesn't help this time of year with it being constantly cold/wet and as we get in the car we bring more moisture into it.

I like to every now and then (when I've not been using the car this is) run it with the heater on full to dry out the interior.

Cheers, yeah will try that.

Had an issue with the windscreen outer trim but the windscreen guy said that it was just trim and nothing to do with the windscreen so didn't get it replaced.

Will give the heating gunning a go and see what happens.
