EP3 Would I need a remap if...

Just wondering if I would need a remap if I change my back box from dc sports to mugen twin loop? Car is currently mapped for all mods running 259bhp, or will I be ok just to change, thanks, also if I did change would I likely lose any power

The Mugen system is the b-pipe as well, it's not an interchangeable back box.

If the b-pipe diameters are the same, I'd be inclined to say you'll be OK. The Mugen is one of the better performing exhausts out there so you won't lose much if anything.

Ok thanks Loxy, bit of a long shot this but the twin loop was actually fitted to a track Ek car, don't suppose you know if it will fit an ep providing diameter is the same

You'll be able to make it fit, but it won't go straight on.

The b-pipe length and route will be different, as will the shape of the pipe on the back box.
