Hi Guys,
I've tried to get an answer on the Facebook forums buts the issue still isn't fixed so thought I'd ask here:
I've got a 07 FN2 Type R, bone stock, on about 69k miles. Pretty much every morning (or any other very cold starts) it makes an awful grinding sort of sound for about 30seconds to a minute and then it completely goes, replaced with an intermittent pulley-like noise.
See video at https://streamable.com/2si72 and https://streamable.com/ugu1q , also notice the spark toward the end.
Since this video the car has had a new PCV Valve, New Idler Pulley, New Idler tensioner & Pulley and new Aux belt, to no success.
TGM can't look at it till the 7th and not sure it's going to last that long as it's my only car. Hopefully someone can pinpoint the issue and I can get the local garage to sort it.
Any help massively appreciated!
