We could rename it as a "Like" button, then it would be even more pointless. Not that I want it removed, thanks validate me as a human being and worthwhile member of the forum. Or I posted tits.

If the thanks button is staying, then there is no need for this thread in the sub-section of the forum and it can be moved to General Chat.

Otherwise please keep OT chat away from the forum topics and keep it in General Chat.

If anyone has any legitimate reasons or arguments for its removal then please create a new thread.
