Hello all,
whilst browsing google i came across this site.....http://www.akamoto.co.uk/electric-supercharger.asp#.

I have used the search on this forum to see if anyone has been here before, but came up with nothing "i could be doing it wrong:eek:".

I was just wondering if anybody has one or has any view's on this product, as iam thinking of getting the Gen3 charger n/a. What do you think people, worth a dabble or a waist of time.

Thanks for the replys, not looking good so far, might go for a k&n cold air intake instead.
I like the picture mr angry, looks like a lot of work went into that .

What scares me most about this, if it falls apart, there is nothing stopping it getting into the engine.

Nothing wrong with an ebay special, they last a week or two, lol.
Good point tom83, it would be just my luck, strap it on, bang....... engine rebuild.

surely their must be some sort of fail safe. When or if it goes bang. I would ask them for some more in depth tech questions, like what kinda warranty do you get and life of the unit. or is it all just a lot a sh?t.......

That looks amazing!!!

I mean for 200 quid you can get 10% more power ! Now bang for buck that’s amazing!

However any slightly technically minded person that reads the literature below it will be able to pic up many many many flaws in it!

But if you fancy wasting 200 quid for an afternoon of fitting it to your car for a giggle, then by all means go for it...it could even be in the running’s for diy/write up of the year!!

This is a no go for me, iam going for a K&N cold air intake.
For those of us who are not technically minded, could you list a couple of faults you found with it, so others reading this post will no not too go there.
