hi all just finish applying a carbon fibre look vinyl to the centre console on my ep3 wasn't sure how it would look but actually looks really good as the sheet i got was a very good copy of carbon fibre took a while though!!

hair dryer, bank card for air pockets!, and a craft knife will try and upload some pics for your feed back?

you'll need to upload them onto a website like http://photobucket.com/. Create an account and upload your photo and then copy the url with the tags around it (see below).

Gearshift surround looks really quite good, but the upper console is spoilt by the lumps and bumps in it around the edges.
 
yeh i agree finished it last night and came out this morn and the upper one had risen so looks like another go today!!
 
No problem fella. It looks good. Don't think i'd do it myself but good on you for giving it a go. Agree with Dolphin, the few lumps on the top section are a shame but if you can sort them it'll be top.
 
I agree, if you could perfect this method, you could make a few quid.

I like how the lines are parallel in the top and bottom sections.
 
cheers it only cost £15 all in and then just time those bits still need doing tho.

Thanks it does take time! needs heating up some more and smoothing out
 
Do not want im afraid mate. If it's not perfect, it's not good.

It's in too much of a important place to get it almost right.

Kudos for the effort though.
