FK2 FK2 general discussion

A Megane Trophy and a Civic Type R FK2 almost evenly go from 0-60, so you won't see a difference there.
 
Civic is around a second faster I thought? Either way they have over 30bhp so was surprised but pleased all the same! I do like my Renault :)

No no, if the Type R has a perfect start and shift it does 5.7 secs.
 
In work and a van has just ploughed into a new FK2 and a Jeep...bet the owners livid.

I think the Megane is supposed to be 5.9 but again apparently that's difficult to achieve. All about the reaction times innit I guess. Either way I was expecting to get blown away by it that's all. I wonder how it would fair against that new focus RS?

The new rs has 4 wheel drive and launch control so probably not good. But on a track in the dry I'd bet on the fk2.

FK2 cannot beat any 4WD or RWD current hot hatch in a standstill sprint, but you cannot compare FWD with 4WD/RWD. All those cars do 0-60 <5 sec.
