The other thing is my ubderstanding is that the circuit tests if the sensor is getting up to temp in 2 minutes. Therefore if I clear the code I should have about 60 seconds before the EML comes back on? Mine comes back on within 5 seconds...which again makes me think it's not the sensor. Cheers.

Thanks for the comments Chris. The problem with that is Honda want £200 for a new sensor. I'm not being cheap but I was just wondering if there is anything else I could check before laying out that expense. It's quite unlikely 2 sensors would be bad, no? Thanks.

So I located the fuse. (Fuse 6 in the engine bay - IGP). Checked it and all good, ECU reset and no change. Went back to the guy I got the sensor off in case this was bad and he sent me another one.. Replaced it out and still got the P0135 code, Anyone had this issue before...? Any thoughts...

Got a used sensor from one of the type r breakers on here so it's original. Was getting a P0132 code before. Changed it and getting the P0135 code. Want to check the fuse before looking to swap it out...again. Cheers.

Hi, I'm based in Glasgow. The popping noise seems to have stopped now. I'm guessing that they just needed a bit of time to bed after being changed so fingers crossed! I bought the ARB bushes and links as the car is knocking a bit over bumps so will be changing them out over the next week or...

Thanks mate. I dropped Stevie at Grinspeed an email last night. Hopefully hear back from him today. In order to avoid a tow, what's your thoughts on patching it with Quiksteel so I can get some MTF in it for a short drive to the garage? Probably mess up the case but if its getting replaced...
