My heatshield bolts have perished causing loads of rattling so I've whipped the the thing off the cat should I replace it,leave it, or use exhaust wrap what do u lads do? Is it ok with no cat heatshield cheers

Ok first I thought it was my new itg dci but it's not I have a humming noise at idle coming from the intake area without any air filter attached can anyone shed some light on it cheers gareth

Right the humming noise is there without any intake on it what the f#*k could it be?

I've took the whole thing apart and started again and it's humming at me at idle it will do it without the cold feed attached too so that blows itg's theory.... Been googling and finding the accord also hums loudly once you change the filter could it be a leak elsewhere or idle control valve

It sits over the wheel arch but I'm planning on using the fog light in the near future

Just fitted the itg kit and it's amazing!! But can't understand why my cold air feed plays a tune! It's like when u blow over the top of a bottle when idleing if u move the feed it stops anyone else experienced this?

New bearings,clutch,lightened flywheel, done picking the car up Saturday sweet!

Bought the itg today cheers loxy just deciding wether to cut a feed in the front bumper?

Is this intake any good or is hestsoak just gonna bogg it down?

Can we spin the battery round on the ep3 to allow different options of intakes utilising the oem cold air feed? Just a thought

Box has been at jam tech Birmingham and diagnosed with input shaft bearing knackered so all done under warrenty sweet

Hi can someone tell me where they run the feed that comes with the itg it looks short... I do have a hole cut in the arch area behind the battery is this what I'm aiming for or do you lads run a custom air feed? :D

So far my gearbox has been sent to a specialist possible isb and they will throw a clutch in for me too so it's looking good so far

Yeah no probs I'm taking the car back Monday for them to start looking at it and I get a ford in return for god knows how long!!... At least I could get a new clutch and box though fair swap! Lol

So I've just returned from honda and after 4 technicians and 2 service managers under my car they have told me the problem is either the clutch or gearbox so the car is being picked up Monday by the ford garage I brought it from they are gonna start by replacing the clutch and if it doesn't...

Thanks for the reassurance mate! It's just such a s^*t noise almost embarrassing I know people have trice varies things such as the clutch plate spring etc but while I had warrenty id like it sorted its a 250 mile trip to take it back so I'm trying to get it diagnosed locally first it's driving...
