I put Castrol edge 5/40 in my fn2 but Tegiwa do a Honda oil 5/40 cheaper which is best I'm confused as I try to use all original Honda parts

I'm looking at changing my fn2 fuel filter I have the how to guild but as any body changes this and was it ok to do I'm of average intelligence . thanks steve

they fitted a second hand one programed it and all was ok so I got a new one fitted all was well then

I had the same problem about 16 months ago I changed throttle body thinking it was that but it was still the same in the end took it to Honda ecu was the problem

yep that a right off it would cost more to repair than the car is worth a body shop would charge full price for parts labour and the dreaded V.A.T.

A bit Halfords standard type R much better. Still love my FN2 a hot hatch needs to be a two door just my view?

Advice please I have a 07 FN2 GT 63000 full service history. I can service this car my self no probs but am I devaluing my car or do the savings I make even out with lower resale price. I have no intension of selling at the moment. steve

Im 52 in march I will be 53, two children well adults now wont leave home no matter how much I push. I feel 18 most days 88 the others drive a red FN2 bums a bit snug in the seat but love it never going to get old gracefully.

So will that ebay kit ** ok it says 20mm I believe the bolt size to be 20mm just rapped the old bolt with plumbers tap and some gasket seal there's a small amount of thread left to hold good job its fill not drain plug

I thought and small threadings would be just mushed by gears?

Well I've stripped the thread on my gearbox fill can someone help is there such thing as a self tapping sump bolt also what size is this bolt the washer is 20mm please help/advise. Steve

ok lads thanks tried battery off 30 mins no good not had car long loved it but hate it now all I did was full service change coolant clean TB which iv done on all my cars no probs Honda I have no other option need my wheels for work loxy im in Birmingham and this TB...

ok new TB fitted easy job just getting hose over bigger inlet was a dog but got there no improvement still erratic revving the only other thing I did was drain and fill coolant system if air in system would this cores this just had engine running 20 mins or so with cap off still the same advice...

The bigger TB was only its new and cheaper. I was told its a straight swop and will work same as original, I hope what's your view , Honda said as I had opened butterfly by hand that's why it broke Steve

Took it to honda throttel body naff ordered a upgrade from Tegiwa 2mm bigger inlet outlet straight swop but advise re map how do i get that done steve

thanks for your reply I just took hose off spayed carb cleaner in it rub with a rag but back together the two hoses I took off if I've put back incorrectly which I don't think I have could this be the prob thanks steve
