1st to 2nd crunch in low revs

Hey guys,

I have a 2003 Integra Type-R with standard engine and gearbox. When driving about normally (Below 6000rpm) the gearbox crunches when changing between 1 and 2, slightly inbetween 5-6th too. I know these boxes have syncro issues but I'm hoping to change the fluid soon to see if that helps. Is there anything else I can try?

MY EP3 has done this since Ive had it. Its especially hard to get into 2nd on very cold mornings. I just let the old girl warm up and gear changes are fine. Does yours still crunch when warmed up?

Yes its still there once warm too. It does get easier once warm though, however not completely gone.
