Anyone running 50 profile winter tyres?

As title... Is anyone running 205/50/17 Winter tyres for the months ahead?

Alright mate, I live at the top of Scotland and last year i got a set of snow tyres for my dc5! They were magic well worth the purchase! Didn't get stuck once and was so much safer to drive in! Got a good deal on www.mytire.co.uk just waiting for the weather to get bad before I put them on.

i've got winter tyres, not for civic though. as per wadey it's best to put them on when the weather is on average 7C or less, thats when they perform better than summer tyres and will suffer less wear.

I just leave *** car at home in the snow and ice.
