Are LSD's that good!

They aren't really for acceleration purposes.

More cornering.

They will help with traction off the line, but they aren't really going to improve your 60 times.

As I said, they are a huge improvement when it comes to cornering.
 
My previous two cars both had a lsd
And it is a must it will be one of the first things i buy for my car now

He asked if he needed a limited slip. Not locking.

There is a huge difference.
 
Is that a fitted price or just the diff? It is quite a lot of labour to fit one as the gearbox has to be dropped which you need to take into consideration. Also you may as well consider changing the clutch whilst you are in there.

He asked if they're better for acceleration. They're not.
They're better for going around corners which will make his car better.
Hence my answer.

I'd get one. Just to make the car more enjoyable.
