I don’t think it will be good for resale value getting the sportline personally. You can argue it will be rarer but so are the number of Type S integras in the UK.
Judging by how few have sold in the UK I think these cars will quickly become very desirable as a collectible. Some of the craziest looking cars of their time later went on to be worth a lot of money. Escort RS cosworth, Lancia Delta. There are others I’m sure.
As a collector, people don’t remember the lower spec cars, they want the top model. Those black seats seem appealing right now because they’re different. Fast forward 10 years and I reckon it will be seen as a negative.
I know you buy a car to enjoy, not as an investment but in longer term ownership all those choices can make a difference of thousands. For me even boost blue is just a fad. People are going crazy for it because it’s something different. Great, go for it if that’s your bag but in the grand scheme of things CW is probably going to be the one everyone wants. It’s seen as the Type R colour.
