I sold my EP3 years ago and I've had a few cars since but I've always missed the honda. I currently drive a 350Z but have decided to buy another type R for me and my girlfriend to share.
Anyway to cut a long story short i travelled 150 mile to cheshire car sales to view one and ended up putting a deposit down on it. The guys in the garage were not exactly profesional and I didn't get a great feeling from them or the area but the car itself looked ok, it was on 85k and had good history and a MOT with no advisorys, I'd also spent 2.5 hours traveling and really didn't fancy the journey being wasted, I'm supposed to be going to pick the car up on sunday.
I've since realized the garage is part of "cheshire performance" and has a very bad reputation. I've been a little put off the sale after reading some horror storys about them online.
Anyway another car has come up local to me, right on my doorstep infact. It's newer and it's in much better nick bodywork wise but the engine has done more miles. The garage gives the car a full MOT and service along with warranty and the bloke I spoke to made me feel much more comfortable than the guys at cheshire performance.
Here's the two cars....

Would you prefer the newer higher mile one in mint nick from a reputable garage or the older one that has a few marks here and there and lower miles.
I am a little put off by the higher miles but I know the car is good for it. I just think for 4 grand I should be able to find a cracking type R but ive been all over the place looking and I'm struggling to find one I'm really happy with.
