can you subscribe to a whole forum section?

there is a specific section i want to subscribe to, not the subsection if you will, eg the general area that has the general chat, advice etc. just one of those specific sub forums that i would like to get an email every time a new topic is posted, is this possible at all?

Admins and mods definitely can, not sure about general users, I'll look into it! :lol:

Looks like the great unwashed can indeed do this. If you are in the main forum display bit, if you look on the top right just under the page counter there is a Thread Tools dropdown beside the Search This Forum dropdown.
In the Forum Tools you should see Subscribe to This Forum
