Carbon fibre vinyl

Anyone tried any 3M carbon fibre vinyl? Just ordered some for my centre unit, looks easy to do on the videos but wondering if anyone has any tips on applying it

Do it slowly and work from one side or end to the other, to avoid air bubbles. Smooth as you go and hold the unplaced vinyl away from centre console instead of placing it in one and then trying to smooth it out.

hey howd you get on? was thinking of doing this myself, is the vinyl you have bought like a cloth finish or actual vinyl finish? i think the cloth stuff is a bit easier to use due to it being thicker but a bit tougher to get round bends etc, can you let me know how you got on??
