My old neighbour had one of these, and the battery was still going strong. Car was a POS as well.

That's my point same batteries and still running well, I have to say the ECU works the batteries very well to keep them in tip top condition for maximum life span.

Whats the deal with the batteries in the CRZ. What's the recommended age/mileage before they need replacing?
Just wondering the cost involved as if i was to buy a used CRZ i would have to work out future costs involved if keeping for a while.
