DC2 DB8 DC5 DC2 Cambelt change?

Anyone know when these need changing? I'm looking at one tomorrow with 51k on clock and hasn't had it done so just checking when i'd have to do it as the car looks very tidy etc.

I'd get it done right away.

It's not just the mileage but the age of the belt, it will probably be over 10 years old if its on the original cambelt!

Yeah i'd get it done as a precaution. Throw on an uprated one and you'll be laughing

60,000 miles or every 5 yrs mate. no need for uprated one unless you have cams etc

From my investigations lately i think its about £250

I think it over priced as its only got Jap service history and since they've had it a mate has done the servicing. They have some RAC cert but who know when that was done and for what car.

I'll just play it by ear i guess.

True but i'd rather get the price down and get TGM to do it, that way i'll have peace of mind that it was done properly.
