These are marmite I know, even Im having doubts about them at the moment

Ive also got some other parts that Im waiting to get fitted; a Miltek Cat Back, HKS Racing Suction, LeeH Earthing Kit and thanks James @ Touge a s Racing Front Strut brace and C Pillar brace

Ive also booked into Xquisite to have the cam & inlet covers painted white

Its actually legit JDM. The FN2 is sold as the Type R Euro in Japan

Dotty, Im sure James would happily sell you one lol

Oh yeah I dont mind those stickers, you need a "two in the poo one in the goo sticker" to go with them lol.

Does the milltek have triangular exhausts? I swear I have seen circular ones, but that may have been them testing the fitments ages ago

The triangles are just trim in the OE bumper. The Miltek came in 2 different forms, recessed like the standard exhaust or in 3in pipes that protruded from the bumper. The 3in pipes looked rubbish and I dont think they sold well. I've got the recessed version.

Also some pics of the Js braces:

Ive been doing alot of reading on the forum recently and it gave me the kick up the back side to get those other parts fitted to the car. So yesterday and today I fitted the following:

Js front strut brace & C pillar brace
HKS Racing Stuction

Next up is getting the cam & inlet covers painted white + getting carbon plug cover fitted. I did get some PasswordJDM reservior covers aswell but they are too big and look gash fitted in the FN2 so I'll be getting rid of them at some point

Surely having a kink in the brace at each end makes it significantly less effective as a brace?

This is true - the FN2 has a very stiff chassis - I personally don't believe that it requires braces, for anything more than dress-up IMO.

That said I never had a brace on my FN2 to be able to draw a comparison - just the whole set-up of the struts and the general rigidity of the car, make me feel as if they'll only really be required for the stripped out track car, pushed to the limit, every corner, every time.. if that.

Looks good though.. J's Braces rock. Keep up the good work Ed.

This is very true. One of things Ive always liked about Type R's is the variety of braces you can get, so I was always gonna get a couple even just for dress up

Thought Id come back and update this as it hasnt been updated for a little while

Spoon socks have been changed out for PasswordJDM ones
Strut brace mounts have been painted
Blox Racing shifter has been ordered - did have one arrive but it was chipped so its been sent back and a new one sent
ARC Winglets - they dont do these for the FN2 yet so I've ordered the last ever set of EK9 ones direct from ARC and they are being sent over the seas now
Tegiwa Imports gold bolts & stainless steel screws to replace the cheap plastic clips. but Ive havnt fitted these yet.

And Ive got the car booked into Xquisite for the end of August to have the following:
Smoothed front bumper with relocated plate
Colour coded wing mirror base plates
CW edition door handles & fuel filler fitted and prtially painted

Then the next step is lowering and painting the wheels
