EP3 Car Battery

My old Saxo had a very good battery, still on the original one when I traded it in at 7 years old.

How on earth do you look in the battery for water levels, never done this in my life? It's working fine so if it aint broke....
 
I'm sorry to bring up an old topic but I have a 45 amp hour battery and it simply is not strong enough for my sound system. I was wondering what battery's do you recommend to use insted which are of about 60ah+??? thanks for your help
