ep3 ipod stereo upgrade

picking up a type r ep3 facelift in cosmic grey saturday.

looking to upgrade the standard stereo, for use with my ipod classic and iphone 4, would this one be ok?

Most new stereos have iPod support, I used to have an alpine ** it got nicked out of my car, but recently bought a new kenwood for only £100. It has a 3.5mm input socket which will take audio input from anything with a phono out..

Also has a USB input which takes memory sticks or the iPhone USB lead which controls iPods iPhones etc and also charges them..

Most alpine head units these days supports iphones/ipods :smt023

Have a look at the Alpine IDA X100, it has very good navigation and excellent SQ.
