Thought I'd start a thread.

Had the car for 3 weeks now. Totally standard apart from an FQ330 exhaust.

Previous owner replaced the AYC pump. Changed the clutch packs in the SST gearbox. And fitted the later version timing chain.
Really liking it. It's a fair bit slower than my old Evo 5 but it's so much nicer to drive.

Famous last words, but it's staying standard for at least a year. Can't see the point in modifying it till I'm bored with it.

Gave it its first coat of wax today. Bit of road rash on the bonnet and the lower back doors but nothing too bad.
Hopefully the mudflaps will keep it from getting too much worse.

Not really. The SST gearbox is a big limiting factor when it comes to upping the power.
To be honest, it's quick enough. Nowhere near as quick as my previous cars but it's no slouch.

I'll probably just put a decat on and do some cosmetic upgrades. Keep the power at about 350bhp or so.

I bet the interior is a much nicer place to be compared to your old Evo.

I love the way these look, so, so evil. I had a wee test drive of a similar one a couple of years ago, it was really surprisingly refined and very, very easy to not realise how fast you're going!

I've done over 2000 miles in it so far!
Luckily the Accord is now fixed so hopefully I can resist the urge to take it to work (180 miles a day :( )

It'll be filthy again soon as I'll be using it for work again.
Bloody Accord is doing my head in :(
