fast road setup insurance question

How would I go about stating to the insurance company that I'm getting a FRS for my car? Would they understand the FRS terminology or would I need to go into the nitty gritty of camber bolts and shims etc.?

I never told mine, I can't see how they'd ever really know. Unless they called for the car to have a seriously detailed check to be done. Which is very very rare for insurance company's to do as it costs a lot to do it.

Depends who your insured with, if your with a specialist like Adrian flux etc, they will have a better chance of understanding of what a fast road set up is.

Just don't bother saying anything. I can't see how they would ever know. Obviously it's upto you whether you want to declare it or not

Are you lowering the car at the same time? If so, tell them otherwise you'll have voided the insurance

Tell them about the springs and adjustable camber arms, wouldn't use words like fast road set up with insurance companies!

No point telling them really. They'd have to measure the geometry to find out and chances are in the event of an accident it'll move the geometry out of specification.

Or they can just see what you have said on a forum. Just tell them better be safe than sorry.
