Fitting a auxiliary belt. Easy or not ??

Hi there need to fit one of these the weekend is it something you can do yourself ??
Oh on a ep3 no air con

Yes, very simple job. Use a socket on the tensioner to relieve the tension, remove old belt.

when i did mine i couldn't get a socket on there as there wasn't enough space,

using 2 ring spanners looped is the easiest way i find, 13mm iirc

That great thank you
I take it that the tensioner is the very top wheel

no its the one a bit further back and lower, easy to spot its the closest smooth pulley to the top of the engine (the back of the belt is in contact with it rather than the ribbed side)
