I thought I would start another thread to make it easier to find specifics on exhausts.

Here are a few of the exhausts I've heard so far for the FK8

I am gonna be keeping mine standard I reckon but will be watching all the mods with interest and people's warranty stories....and after saying all that in 12 months time will no doubt have a NOS injected low riding CTR with flames coming out the back...

I actually went to the dump the other days so seats came down....and I know there is no shelf, but the seats down defo perked the exhaust up a bit...so they have stayed down...

I did about 200 miles yesterday and came to the conclusion that I won’t be changing the oem exhaust. It’s just the right balance I think.

I was saying to Tim earlier , that the only thing I may be interested in is a panel filter by k&n, and some of the Honda Carbon.
 
I am always conflicted when it comes to exhausts. I love a good raspy exhaust note. But hate the motorway drone. I haven’t missed a loud exhaust on my FK8 after having the Milltek Race on the FK2.

I thinking K&N drop in filter and carbon rear spoiler but to be honest I feel this us the wrong side of 1k at the moment. Might change my mind in the summer when the car stays clean and you can see it so at the moment just sending overpayments to reduce the final amount owed in 3 years
 
K&N over the piper cross?

Is there a k&n out yet? (Just found it £53)

I don't understand why there are differences between us and European air boxes as the Euro filter won't fit US engines....

Wouldn't even consider the pipercross, total crap on the FK2 and their after sales were terrible going by some owners troubles
 
i personally loved it on the fk2 and i have it on the fk8. it doesn't make such a big difference but still worth having.
