EP3 Flashy's CG EP3 premier

The plastic ball must have worn a bit in the oem shifter, it's not awful but there is still in gear play. Gear change will be like new again

Finally managed to get the Ultra Racing front brace in, it was a tight fit and initially I thought it was too long but I was wrong. Swapped out the ITG and put the AEM V2 in as I fancied some noise. I am impressed with the V2 and the car seems more urgent in vtec, it makes a great sound too being about half way between stock and the Tegiwa sound.
The front strut brace has made a big improvement, like a go kart now

I have an ITG Maxogen installed on my ep3, would you recommend changing for AEM V2, I only ask as I might have the opportunity to buy one for a decent price, cheers

I have both depending on my mood :) I like the sound of the Aem it is not as loud as I thought it would be, which is a good thing. There isn't a lot in it, I'd say the aem feels like it pulls through vtec quicker.

I will probably stick with the ITG then, it’s just a bit of a pain every six months cleaning the foam filter and re oiling it, but I will save my money and spend it on other mods

Braced front and back now, put the Alutec rear brace on this evening, quite a bit lighter than oem.

Put a snorkel down into the wheel arch for the ITG maxogen. Will eventually feed it from the fog blank when I get the bumper off. Intake temps at the moment are 25c after a drive, up to 31c whilst idling. Will retake readings later when I pop out.

Looking good, let me how you get on, I’ve just got the standard pipe that came with it, have you got a heat shield fitted? Or do you think it’s worth fitting one like below,

Hmmm, don't know what to make of this, scan tool tonight ...

Drove to work this morning and the car has benefited from the cold air feed. Pulls stronger across the rev range, especially out of vtec.

Definitely revs better :p

Paired with my ITG maxogen I'd say it's worth doing. Intake temperature is the same as the ambient temperature, on an N/A car it's a big plus.

Aye, I'm sure there's something to be had for it, even on the standard ECU. Was very surprised about our power output without mapping!

Painted the rusty hubs and switched to 6000k led on the sidelights.
