Flat fob battery

If my remote lock controller from my ep3 has a dead battery and use my key to unlock the car, while the car be able to start?

Did you not use your fob to lock it then?
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I locked my car using the fob on Saturday. Went to unlock it yesterday only to see no response. I unlocked the car with the key but no light came on or car would start. I thought it was a Honda safety feature that had something to do with the fob. But in reality my car battery died and by coincidence so had my fob battery. Got that sorted for 70£ :( also found out that previous owner (only bought the car couple weeks ago) had a battery of only 370Ah.

I just changed batterys and it worked.

Maybe due to you having a flat battery on car and key fob it might need honda to reprogram they keyfob to the car. Sure its £30 they charge.

Sure someone will have a better answer than me, hope you get it sorted.
