Got bogged to hell today, :lol:

Miscalculated the depth/solidity of the river bed, meaning a much steeper approach angle than I expected and a very firmly wedged pootrol.

Cue the children helping extract, well..

Yes I was in a world of sh1t, till I got snatched out backwards then watched as 2 others got bogged trying to cross the same river in different places. :lol:

Nice place though, will be back.

Starter motor thought today was a good day to die.

Just after we got the boys excited for a day out.. fvck you cars.

So, new one needed. Called Nissan, oh that would be $800.. fvck you Nissan. Autoparts = $370.

Cycled up, collected and popped back and fitted the new one in under 2 hours. 39km ride.

Hopefully I don't break anything else for a few weeks, then I might be able to sneak a full 3inch exhaust system... :lol:

So that was a load of sh1t in hindsight...

About two months ago the fuel pump wheezed it's last breath, mid drive back from school. Thankfully, within 20min of posting a picture/dropping a pin in a facebook group I had a 79 landcruizer ute roll up and tow me home for free.

Oh then there was the $400 in repairs at the garage for new pump and fitting..

Now it's got a small oil leak again. Still, at 315k KM it's lived a good life. Perhaps time for it to die..
