front facing child in front seat?

i have a child who is just over 1 year old and would like to sit him up front with me.. anyone know if its safe and legal to fit the child seat in the front seat? i have a ep3 thanks in advance

It's perfectly legal, although you need to turn off the passenger air bag if you have one. Not sure if the law says you need to turn it off or it's just frowned upon by the manufactures. I would never do it with the airbags on. I think if the bag goes of it would crush them in there seat.

You can't turn off the airbags in an EP3. There isn't a key lock in the dash to do this, or able to do it by computer like most newer cars.
