No hate, just difference in scene. Credit where credit is due though, a lot of work has gone in to it.
Cosmichrome or similar, is a chemical reaction that gives a chrome like finish to literally any surface. You can basically see your face in it. Be aware though, its a tricky process to do, and it can be expensive also. But done right its excellent. I bought the machine and chemicals a few years ago, and although Im a decent sprayer, I could never get a good enough basecoat to spray on to.
Basically you would have your tanks sprayed with chrome, even though they are plastic. It would fit nicely with the paint and chrome already in the engine bay.
I will have a look and see if Ive got any pictures of the product I was using. Although in my build thread, my centre console was done by me using it with red dye.
mate that is pretty awesome. might have to look into this, I am a sprayer but never come across this before
what sort of prep work goes into it? just same scotch/key plastic up and plastic prime etc then colour?
