well I have got the new tyres still waiting to go on as im undecided what fitment to go for yet with the air, so that's still to play with,

I also still want some bits doing in the bay, just need to crack on,

then the interior needs doing, playing with 2 ideas at the moment im so undecided yet but yeh that's my plans so far mate

Update is needed! So, Here goes, Japfest 2 was insane! Couldn't believe how big it actually was. Totally enjoyed the chance to show my car with Fastcar Magazine. Got a lot of attention again and found a lot of pictures on facebook and instagram what people had taken.

500 mile round trip was pretty worth it!

So after an awesome weekend at Japfest 2 it was time for Modified Nationals!

Always enjoy the Nationals weekend! Full of Awesome cars inside and out too!

The standards are so high for the cars Inside.

I originally applied for the top 50 Show & Shine plaza.

But I was then offered a place Inside the Ultimate Rides Hall on the Fitment Junkies Stand!

I couldn't turn that offer down!

So another journey Friday afternoon down the A1.... Tent was put up then I took my car indoors to be locked away Friday Night!

Enjoyed another two perfect days at the show!

Again found loads of pictures people took from the show.

Next show for me now in my local show YMS Yorkshire Modified Show Top 20 Indoors!

Update time! Went to YMS and it was another pretty decent show. Again the car got so much attention all day, waxed it all with dodo juice again and it just comes up so shiney!

Also managed to come away with another award! 'best engine bay' second time this year now! Couldn't be happier!

Going to admit, when I first saw your car I wasn't keen, but the more you update your thread, the more I appreciate the work you have put in to it, and its growing on me. Don't think Ive ever seen an engine bay like yours before, it is stunning.

Have you thought about Cosmichrome or similar for the header tanks? It would finish the bay off lovely.

I haven't actually, what do they look like? I still want to make some other bits for the bay....

No hate, just difference in scene. Credit where credit is due though, a lot of work has gone in to it.

Cosmichrome or similar, is a chemical reaction that gives a chrome like finish to literally any surface. You can basically see your face in it. Be aware though, its a tricky process to do, and it can be expensive also. But done right its excellent. I bought the machine and chemicals a few years ago, and although Im a decent sprayer, I could never get a good enough basecoat to spray on to.

Basically you would have your tanks sprayed with chrome, even though they are plastic. It would fit nicely with the paint and chrome already in the engine bay.

I will have a look and see if Ive got any pictures of the product I was using. Although in my build thread, my centre console was done by me using it with red dye.

You can see my reflection in the top half, so you can get the idea. To add a colour, you would just add a dye to the top coat.
