Hi guys before I waste my money on wrong parts could any body help me out please,
My problems are :-
when I change to 2nd when cold it crunches a little (only when cold *** )
next problem is, only if I floor it, it crunches 3rd a little too
i have replaced front and back engine mounts for the energy ones
also changed fluid for Honda mtf lll
its not made any different
when I bought the car the clutch was right to the floor
so I bleed it up and adjusted it under the pedal
The clutch pedal feels better but problems are still there.
Any advice welcome please guys as I want to sort it but not waste money
am going to get a genuine clutch as the frush bearing is noisy on idle to I press the clutch
thanks mick

When the car is cold you can get a little crunching from first to second due to the synchros, they are designed for high revving changes so can be a little noisy when not warmed up. As for your second to third, it could be the same issue under a lot of load, but it may be worth having a Honda specialist like TGM or TDi Having a look as it might be something a little more damaging. You can get the synchros replaced now with heavier duty Carbon ones which are supposed to be superb for higher rev changes. I'm sure someone might add a bit more for you though bud, hope you get it sorted ;)

Cheers pal
some one told me if it was the sincros it would do it all the time and that it will be a worn clutch pressure plate if its doing it at high revs
but not sure

Clutch is on the way out.

What's the mileage.

Also, thrust bearing... Not Frush. Lol

If it's on it's original clutch, it needs changing.
That's your problem.

The pressure plate springs are more than likely weak and not disengaging totally from the friction plate. Hence the synchros grinding.

I had the same issues. Stevie at Grinspeed chucked in a new clutch kit and hey presto as good as new.
