Help with harness fitment

Messages

Hi guys.
I have purchased this 6 point Sabelt harness for my ep3 track car. Now I need to go about installing it properly. I need to know where the correct mounting points for eyelet bolts ect and probably what if any other pieces I require. As for the car, I have completly removed the rear interior and my backet seat is mounted on to Buddyclub rails.
Any help is appreciated.

I would strongly recommend a roll cage.

At very least you will need a harness bar like below:

cache.php

Harnesses without a rollbar is extremely dangerous.
If you roll the car and have a harness fitted then your body don't move, resulting in a squashed head. Where as having a roll bar will prevent the roof coming in, or in the case of a normal seatbelt, youd slide down the seat in the event of a roll over.
And I'm pretty sure some tracks won't let you out if you have a harness but no roll cage/bar

As has already been pointed out, don't run harnesses without a cage.

Also harness bars have been known to break in the event of a crash.
