Although that may sound like a joke, Trung is right - t's actually the only way you're gonna be able to replicate that sound.

Ferrari engines use a flat crank where the crank planes are 180º apart. this allows them rev so high and so freely and also gives them that unique noise.

The TVR homegrown V8's also use that configuration hence they don't sound like normal V8's either
