How do you know when your discs need changing

When they look like this they probably need changing...

Get a couple of garages to check the thickness, any honda garage can tell you what they should be my last OEM set were 79% worn when I took them off for the spoon kit.

I thought after 92k miles my original disks could do with a change. Confirmed by Hasnic when he said that my brakes did not do a very good job of stopping my car.

Still thanks to those lovely guys at 3G, and some industriouse fettling by Nick we have new disks and pads on. Working very well too :D

Just got to get my new wheels on ;) :D

Funky: your pad is in a worst state!

I think I read somewhere that the change over time is when 3mm of the disc has been worn.. don't quote me on that though it could be more.

G: where could one procure 3G discs from?

Those are from my escort, dont think I would let the civic discs or pads get that bad before I changed them.

Forget Google, mad_allan FTW!

Cheers mate..

Email sent to 3G about new front discs..

Nice one, Speak to a guy called kev, say Graham from Fast car pointed you his way, I am sure he will look after you dude.
