Just bought a new Type R (FN2) Bronze

Some pics! Amazing cars and spec wise you can't fault these.

Overall in the year i averaged 26-27 mpg which is pretty good!

How are you finding the Brembos ?

One of the few criticisms I had of the FN2 was the brakes weren't the best...other than that it was a great car...liked the 1st one so much we bought a second

1st one was a 58 plate non LSD & 2nd was a 60 plate with the LSD...can't say as I noticed much difference TBH

Very solid feeling car the FN2 =D>

Regards,Mark.

Absolutely loving them Mark! When i went for my first drive i honestly didn't think they felt much different to the stock brakes but i was told to give it 300 miles for them to be beaded in.

Over a week and 300 miles later i love them! Have made a huge difference and not only do they kook good but they perform even better. So glad i got them done.

Funnily enough i want an lsd next! Prob get one next year for my birthday!

Went for a nice Sunday morning blast in Oxfordshire Inc a little toe to toe with a mini cooper s! Although the mini driver was braking harshly around the corners whilst i wasn't even covering the pedal!

Great pics  I on the other hand was at work while you were enjoying yourself :-({|=

I fitted the Non-Res Milltek exhaust to the Mugen 200...nice sound & surprisingly refined on a cruise =D>

Took me weeks to decide wether to get that or the resonated version

Regards,Mark.

Had a family friend service a few bits for me this week prior to it's service from TGM.
Bought the following parts from Cox motors and got £10 discount being a forum member :

*Pollen filter
*Brake fluid (For clutch re-flush)
*Rear brake discs
*Rear brake pads
*Coolant (5L)

Clutch feels so much better with gear change being a lot smoother. Saved myself a bit of £ as i thought i might have needed a new clutch.

Did get a fault code indicating a misfiring 3rd cylinder but light went off after a restart. Will get that checked along with it's service.
