The Americans don't use RON, they use a PON rating system, which is an average of RON and MON numbers, and gives a more accurate figure by all accounts.

93 PON is approximately the same as our 97 RON fuel, although they have better quality control over their fuel, so is actually going to be a better grade than most of what we have anyway;)
 
Thanks for all the responses and feedback. I am currently rebuilding the engine so I will post more photos of the process soon.

Motor will be sleeved and different turbo setup.
